The Indian subcontinent is diverse both naturally and culturally. Most of the invasions came to India from the North and later by sea when European spice traders landed on the West Coast and the South of India.
In general, there are a lot of attractions in north and north east along the Himalayan mountains.
The Taj Mahal is one of the 7 wonders of the world. Overall, I liked Machu Picchu the best because of its location in the Andes in South America. However, as an object I liked the Taj Mahal the best because of its symmetric design. I have also included pictures from the West coast and the south to provide diversity. BTW, the B&W pictures of the Taj Mahal are better than the color pictures.
